LootBase

How to Create a PoE 2 Loot Filter

LootBase lets you make an item filter without editing filter syntax. The editor keeps item groups separate so you can review each part before export.

Start with a section

Open the Currency, Fragments, Essences, Gems, Uniques or Bases tab. Each tab owns its settings and contributes its own rules to the exported filter.

Select an item cell to inspect its current settings. For equipment bases, use the category navigation or a base bucket to work with a smaller selection.

Decide what appears

Set an item to Show or Hide. For a visible drop, adjust text, border and background colors. Add a beam or minimap icon when you want an additional cue.

Use the sound picker for a built-in alert or a custom file. Preview the result in the editor before exporting.

Export and check the result

Use the filter output area to copy the text or save a .filter file. The generated rules use the official English filter tokens and BaseType values even when the interface is in another language.

If you change settings later, export again or use the update action after selecting a filter file. Review the file name and selected folder before saving.
